Finally made a start on my audio. I have been leaving this due to the weather and how long it takes.
So today i tried to tackle the problem of fitting morels in E92 doors (narrow door). I used my old E90 adaptor and modified it into a sort of stepped adaptor, using a ring of 9mm mdf. This caused the speaker to stick out too much so using my trusty DA i sanded it down to around 5-6mm i think. Fits snuggly. I used some industrial strength glue for the stepped ring and when that dries out fully tomorrow, i will fit them in. Then i'm going to top mount the morel attached to the OEM speaker grill. Will post pics once they are in with the grill on This idea was taken from one of Technics threads. |

5" would be too big I'd think Mistryn, Unless you opt for near the bottom of the sill / door panel area.. I maybe wrong but I'm sure that's what I read and came across during my research days into Audio lol.
Offtopic, where d'ya buy the M3 wheel from btw? |

Yes it is possible, saw a few threads about it in the audio section ages ago. Not sure on how to do it though. My guess would be that you'd have to top mount it.

I think coilovers will have to wait a month or two. As for the aero lip, I have found a place where i can buy the OEM one for a similar price to the SSDD one....So sorry but will probably go for OEM

Thanks Ian, looks sweet! I hope you don't miss her too much.
I just cant decide between OEM or CYBA's dual CF M-TEK one. I do like the insert of the OEM one though. They are both similar in price after factoring in taxes and painting the OEM one. Do you know of anyone who has got CYBA's M-TEK one here in the UK? Edit: CYBAs one looks like the standard M diffuser after closer inspection Is this one the same as you posted above: http://www.e90post.com/forums/member.php?u=26793 Last edited by mob17; 02-23-2013 at 04:45 PM.. |

It's much cheaper if you order the diffuser as two separate items, using the two part no's,as opposed to ordering it as one item. Cyba MTec CF diffuser,on my previous 07 E92,seems like a gazillion yrs ago

Cheers for that Ian. I think the OEM one does look better, i like the gaps near the top. Just looks like there's more going on, which is good.
I've sent the request for the diffuser to bmmini (2 separate parts) and will hopefully get a similar price to what you quoted! I have requested a primed and a painted price from bmmini, but how much do you think is reasonable? |

That's a good price guys I was thinking abou looking into these should I get the exhausts done and can't decide between getting the carbon centre or just the standard black one!
One with the CF centre will cost around £200 so just not sure! I emailed bmini too so hopefully get quotes back on Monday! But £150 sprayed is pretty dam good! |

51 12 2158792 Trim, diffuser HP, primed top £79.47 inc + delivery 51 12 2158793 Trim, diffuser HP, bottom £31.03 inc + delivery Get the quote from bmminiparts, print it out, take it to your dealer, and from my experience, they'll match it,so you'll save on delivery So £150.00 to spray + parts above comes out at = £260.00 ish.
