can anyone suggest a good place where I can get an aligment done? I just got my car back from the dealer and they mentionned that the rolling noise I was hearing is from the tires and that they suggest getting the aligment redone.
thanks |

I will take that car back to the dealer and have it do the alignment properly.
$118 is a normal price for a wheel alignment. |

Now I am not a fanboy of either stealer in town but Otto's checked alignment 3 times (I am picky!) without any questions. Hope this helps..YMMV. |

Folks,
I have a check engine light on (after a 5 years of trouble free ownership of my e92 335i). Is there anyone in town who can scan my codes for a case of Leffe, Aventinus, or Muskoka Dark Ale? If you know anyone could you please post or PM me? Thanks all! |

Hey, just noticed this section. I'm in Ottawa. Bought my 08 328i (6M transmission, sport suspension) in May, and am really enjoying her. A real step up from the 02 Cavalier I was driving before, hehehe... just wanted to say hello.
Pic from a few days after I brought her home: So far, I've had the windows tinted, and have a set of 18" MRR GT-7 rims sporting Michelin PSS (225/40ZR18 front 255/35ZR18 rear) ready to go once the weather cooperates. Next up will be a AA stage 2 tune and 3-stage intake upgrade. Cheers! |

I got them online from a seller in California (Wheel Outlet). They were running a sale on the rims on Ebay, and gave me a great deal for the tires/rims package. Before that deal came along, I was going to go locally, with ottawatiresdirect.com. They had the lowest prices I could find. I've heard so many great reviews of PSS that I really can't wait to get them on the car and give them a whirl! Cheers! |

THanks Charles. But I ended up blowing $100 for wrong diag at Duss's (second time in a row when I am not pleased with this so called "Knowledgeable" shop last time it was incorrect wheel alignment after i hit a pothole and now this).
Any how, Duss diag'd the issue as DMTL pump. Me being me, I trusted the diag and ordered DMTL pump and got ready to replace it when I noticed that all it was is wire cut on the connector that plugs into the DMTL pump...I re-soldered it back on and the code is gone! So now I have a spare DTML pump that dealer probably won't take back because the receipt says "no return on electrical parts"...not sure if this is considered electrical just because it has sensors. I will be sure to PM you for subsequent readings! |

Folks:
Looking for recommendation on a proficient detailer for my metallic saphire black e92. After past 10 years of going to Fari and watching the quality of work (including rust proofing and now detailing) go down the drain...I don't know where to go ?!? Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks. |
