New Clutch

My dads car (2006 318i SE) is in need of a new clutch. I was thinking it would cost in the region of £500 ~ but a local reputable dealer quoted us £800.

Can anyone confirm if this is a rip off or just how much clutches go for in a 3 series. Thanks

genuine parts are probably 350+labour 4-5h?+vat sounds about right
