Exclamation CYBA SCOOPS: Service Issue?

SO I just installed the cyba air scoops on my car. I am heading in for service on monday morning. Would the BMW dealership deny any claims of warranty or anything of that sort because of the air scoops. My warranty expires in august and I have been having symptoms of waterpump failure and I am hoping to have that taken care of before the warranty period expires.

Lol no. I had my water pump replaced this past march with my air scoops installed while my car was at dealership.

Bmw Seattle hasn't had any issues with me bring it in and I have a bunch of other crap. Then again i don't have a warranty so bmw can care less of what I do to it.

No, it doesn't do anything bad to the car same for an airbox if you're going in for regular service according to my SA. Oh, and don't listen to the guys who say they're bug scoops. When I popped off my stock air box there were no bugs inside.

THanks for all the help everyone. I went in for service today as scheduled and it went off without a hitch. However, they found an oil filter housing gasket leak which they quoted me at $817. Crossing my fingers that its covered by my 3rd party warranty.

Typical stealership price. I think I got mine done for a little over $400 if I remember clearly.

theres an DIY for it....not too hard

and Indy shops will be half of what the dealer is. Find one you like, get to know them, bring in a 12pk every now and than and you will be awesome pricing......or at least i do.

I called my third party warranty and they said this service is covered and I have a $125 deductible which I have to pay out of my pocket. WHEW and I get a Loaner from BMW Dealership which is a huge plus. They said they will need the car for about 2 days which is even better with the loaner.

But my warranty expires next month so Im thinking I will probably go the route of finding a solid and reliable indy shop. I live in vancouver canada, so any recommendations would help alot. There are some shops here but I have not heard too many good things about them which is why I just go to the dealer.
