$900-1150 install cost for Eibach and Bilstein combo?
OK, so like many here, I want to upgrade my suspension. Starting out with Eibach Pro springs and Bilstein Sports. Called a couple of shops, got a quote of $900 (which seemed very high) and $1150 (which seemed outrageous). Supposedly this in an 8-hour job.....sounds fishy though, thought I would see what people here are paying. The numbers I have seen posted are mainly $300-600 tops. Being this in an XI, is there a bunch of extra stuff involved?

No more than $300. Usually around $250.

Yeah that's crazy a shop quoted you that I had all my suspension parts installed for 1600 with anilgment. This was with the M3 subframe bushings that job alone I've seen people quoted 700 for them.

I got quoted around $1000 mark by few local shops in Seattle area. The tuner shops tend to be a bit less, with one around $650ish. I think we generally get shafted in the PNW.

$350 sounds pretty decent. And for alignment get it at Firestone or equivalent shop. For $200 or so you get lifetime alignment for your car. It pays for itself after a couple of alignments.
