HELP!!! 2008 328i just keep revving to redline when car starts

once i start the car, the car just keeps revving to redline and non stop. had to shut off the car. i did reset battery and still doing same thing.

does anyone know what the issues is?

is the Throttle position sensor on the gas pedal assemble itself? coz i took out the full gas pedal and seems to be idling fine. but i don't have another one to test it

no the Throttle Position Sensor is on the throttle body itsef. you removed the accelerator position assembly which seems to be your problem. if you have access to a scan tool that can read live data you could find out for sure.
