Steering vibrates when brake applied
Previous owner said he did brakes, I have new tires ... Is it rotors ? do I need new or grind them ? plenty of meat

Must be a warp in the rotor. Did he only turn the rotor or get new ones?

I had the same problem. Wheel shake at 60 mph when applying the brakes.
Both rotors were warped. Cause stated as oveheating. My wife drives our car almost exclusively. Claims never to stomp on the brakes. They shouldn't warp under normal use. Our last 3 series had the same issues. |

I have stop tech drilled rotors and they have an inherent jitter to them while braking. I just live with it. Just an FYI before buying.
But your issue def sounds like a warped rotor. Easy fix.
