You need to drive to the dealership. they have tools to reset your oil change.. Your local oil change wont have it until after 2 years later

I know how to reset the oil counter but I'm not telling
J/k... First, press and hold the button on the side of the steering wheel labelled B/C, I believe. Hold it until a menu pops up. Scroll through and you will see when you are due for maintenance on each item. Look for the oil icon. It should havea mile number followed by a picture of a clock. Press and hold the B/C button and you will see the clock spin backwards. Voila! Your oil counter is now reset!

After the first holding of the B/C button you must move down and select RESET. Forgot to mention tat part, pretty sure it's obvious though.

Of course they didnt say anything...all they do is press the B/C button. and reset from there. They don't see anything in the ECU compartment to change oil

take that back about how to reset the oil counter.
What you have to do is hold the odometer reset button until a yellow triangle appears. When it appears, keep holding the odo. button and then press the B/C button. Then the menu will come up to reset evertyhing. Scroll through to the oil light and pres the B/C button and hold it until the clock moves backwards. you are good to go

Why would you want to reset your oil change? If you do that you won't get your 15k oil change on the dealer.

No, he's right. When I bought the oil they tried talking me into either letting them do it or just going in when my LED screen tells me to. They say that they do the oil change and maintenence by what the car's ECU says, not a certain driving point. My ECU wants me to change at 9k miles. If you reset it, the dealer will not allow you the free oil change unless you hit the # of miles indicated on the screen in the dash.:sad0147:
