So I am new to this. I just got a 2008 E90 335i and if I want to go the Cobb route, what stage should I get and how much it would cost me parts and labor? I'm in Houston Texas. Also, b/t JB4 and Cobb, which is easier to remove/disable before taking to dealership for maintenance?

There is no labor involved with the Cobb. You just plug the Accessport into your OBD port and push some buttons. The Cobb is easier to uninstall since there is nothing physical to remove from the car.

I can see shadow codes and clear them with a JB4
* I can see shadow codes and clear them with INPA * I can see shadow codes and clear them with smooth1's free BMWLogger software. * I can see shadow codes and clear them with a BT Cable Why do you feel you can't see shadow codes? Why do you feel like you can't clear shadow codes? Was the intent of your reply to mean, you personally lacked the knowledge/tools to be able to do those activities? hahaha dumbass refrain from talking like you know everything, douche canoe
