I'm looking for some suspension upgrades. That's my main want right now. I want to lower the car, also.
what are some good suspension upgrades for the 328i? Ive checked out Dinan and they have 3 stages. Are all stages required to complete the setup? It's quite expensive too =x

And yeah, there's not much you can do about power.....but I feel the car is more about the total experience (handling, balance, etc). I've had muscle cars before and while power is good, it's not everything. I also think the 328i is more reliable than the 335i (like the fuel pump issue). |

The big question is "How long do you plan on keeping your car?" If your answer is at least 3 or more years, then it would be reasonable to put in money into modifying it. The 328i is a decent vehicle and has adequate power. I had a 328 loaner this past weekend and was surprised by the ride and performance. Modifying it may even increase your interest and excitement about your car so that you'll enjoy it more. I put simple inexpensive mods on my 330i most of which are cosmetic so it makes it a little different from other 330's out there.

All depends on how lpng you plan on having the car. Plan on trading it in soon or selling dont mod it. Keeping for a while, mod the shit outa it! Most importantly just have fun with it, if that means modding, then mod!

The other members have some great suggestions so I would only repeat what they said. But if I had a 328 and wanted to do some mods and customize to your 'taste'. I would probably concentrate on suspension, wheels, and exterior. Doing performance mods aren't going to bring you too much gains from that engine. Your better off just enjoying the stock performance and work in costemics to make you happy. Later when you have a more mod friendly car like the 335i...then go nuts

I have a e92 328xi and I came from a G35 Coupe. I was looking for more luxury when I picked this up and didn't care about speed. IMO, it has enough umph for me. I will most likely do the basic bolt ons and then lower my car for a more aggressive look and wheels.

Yes, I'm planning to keep the car for more than 3 years. I've looked at various suspension upgrades, but was really unsure which one to pick or what difference each one made. I've also read many people had the KW 1/2/3? What the heck is that?
My goal is to lower the car, better suspension and handling. I've heard the strut brace enhances the handling but I'm quite not convinced yet. And it's a little too pricey for what it seems like O_o. Any one else have/used a strut brace before?

KW V1/2/3s are coilovers. The 1, 2, and 3 are all different models, 1 offering the least adjustability and 3 offering the most, I believe. So, you can lower your car the most on V3s. Strut tower braces make your car feel a hell of a lot more solid in turns and decrease weight shifting. They definitely help handling a lot.
Hope that helps.
