the 1 series also needs a new direction for bumpers. Something like the 2 series or F30 sedan Msport.
I think the 2 series front on the e9x is very good look, they are very close in design on headlights

Only (2) companies out there right now making them by molding (2) OEM bumpers together (LTMW & BossCat Designs) - the out of this world costs of the OEM bumpers + labor involved really jacks the price up there. I keep going back & forth between MSport & 1M front bumper - would rather have the 1M, but I'm not liking the current pricing

im not even going to lie, ive been waiting for ages on a bumper for the LCI e92
ive been watching that other thread for the 1m bumper but that died out i will be definitely down to buy a bumper for the LCI E92, it has to have headlight washers and PDC. the m4 bumper looks nice but if that was the plan then you would probably have to modify the grills so we can probably get the m4 grills but that will be too much work. just a thought, do you think you can start producing the 1m bumper too? i will be down for the m4 but if it looks off then ill be intested in the 1m for sure. im waiting through this thread come on bring some love for the LCI RANGE |

It's awesome to see members here taking initiative, to create better options than the market currently offers. I think it's a great idea, and it looks like you are very talented! I'm excited to see this! And it would be great if you could do something for the e90 as well! E92's always get all of the love.

I think the best solution for we e90 people would be to modify the front clip of an e92 to fit e90s. It has been done, twice iirc. Here is what the conversion that Vorsteiner made for ZestJDM. I think the M4 bumper would look fantastic paired with it. It makes the front of the car look a lot lower as far as height of the hood goes, if you ask me.

Subscribed. Looking forward to even just seeing the design process you go through in Solidworks, etc.

Grid,
Any updates? This sounds rather interesting! Good style Good price (hopefully) Good fabrication Good fitment All for a LCI e92 that doesn't have many options... it's a win win! I'm right at the stage of either buying something or building... I hope this is as above. Any ETA? |

We are still on schedule guys!!
The structure for the mold is done, and the vacuum forming is on stand by as we start sculpting the final design. I'm also very excited seeing the finished bumper on our e92's. Its going to be very special once finished! Hold off on making your decisions on what to buy until you see the final product. The quality I assure you will be top class. No cheap stuff! As for ETA, we need about a month. First week of May... Doesn't look like we will run into any issues along the way. Clear sailing! I will try and post some pictures to show you guys of the progress in about 2 weeks. Thanks for your support and interest!!! |
