Good job! You could probably spray some windex on small sections of double sided tape, slide it in the gap areas, then use a hair drier to try to heat up the plastic a bit and put some pressure on it to try to fix where it is popping off. Worth a try maybe?

Yeah, I was just thinking that when taking these pics right now. The gaps are so big though. Do you think I should buy thicker 3m tape? Hmmm or maybe double up the regular automotive 3m tape that I used?

If you go to Menards or Home Depot and don't see 3M, Loctite has double sided tape that is basically the same thing. Good luck! |

@Bimmette - If you don't own them, since you're a pretty handy person, you should go and buy some. They're really handy and come in lots of sizes, in terms of how big they open. Just pop into Home Depot to check them out or Canadian Tire. |

I wouldn't risk scratching my car against a wall just to save like $20, for something you'll probably use down the road for other projects, since you're a handy girl.

You're obviously not understanding what I am getting at. If the two surfaces are not parallel the clamp is going to slide right off. It's not about saving money. And once again, I didn't say to drive the car up against a wall ha

While your statement is true. I think it'll work on the sides. You can unbolt the wheel liner and pull it back while clamping the aero lip against the bumper.
