We had the same problem with our '08 328xiT. The dealer replaced the battery and the symptom was back within an hour. They then replaced the IBS and everything was OK. A little later we had the battery cable recall done and the dealer broke the IBS in the process, so we got another one replaced.

I am having to jump my car almost on a daily basis for the past two weeks. I have been getting the Increased Battery Discharge as well. I have the extended warranty and maintanence package but the dealer says it is not covered by either.
I have a '10 535 e60 with 60k miles. Suggestions?

You need to pull out the glovebox - there are 2 4-pin plugs attached to the glovebox itself - one with 2 wires, one with 4. You need to to match up the number of wires to the correct connector.
In the short term, if you lock the car, it won't run down the battery. |
