What bluetooth adapter are you using? I tried with my ELM327 and the app said my model can't be coded through bluetooth. But I was using the "lite" version of the app. Last edited by ferocity02; 07-28-2014 at 03:57 PM.. |

On my 2008 I can code both using the OTG cable and Cable, or Bluetooth adapter. Its a win no matter what for me! If anyone is thinking about this app, buy it! Its not a master coder, but in less than 10 minutes and not using a single program I do not understand I was able to code.
Mirror Fold on lock Comfort Close windows and moonroof Amber Corner Delete Speedometer on Dash Seatbelt Warning <--- I always wear it, but man its annoying when you are sitting Windshield wipers finish even when car is off Unlock on turn off Fog lamps with Highbeams Dash lights always on Im sure I will find more to do with it soon. It wont find the Cic module to turn off the warning but Im going to email the request to the originator. Anyone in Tampa Id happily help for a nice cold coke. Im no master coder but the app helps a ton, as well I can do the alpina flash. Again great app, expensive but man its paid for itself already for me. FYI the OTG cable and K+D-Can cable with OTG USB on android as well the Bluetooth adapter can also be used with the Torque app. If you havent looked at that app, the video with gauge and map overlay is amazing and worth every cent. If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask. I spent the money and Im happy I did. It is an expensive app but I will happily justify it with you if you need someone to push you. |

The OTG cable is for newer android based phones to add a USB port to plug usb devices into. No it cant do the Aplina flash. I have the Galaxy S5 but there are many phones that are OTG compatible.

Coded comfort eject, windows and sunroof up/down with lock and unlock on key fob, alarm by holding trunk unlock on fob, but I can't code anything in the FRM module.. message comes up saying something along the lines of "error. Code writing failed. None of the cars settings have changed."
I'm using the K-DCAN ODB II with a OTG USB on my galaxy s5. Anyone have any ideas why I can't code the FRM module? |

So what is the reason for people coding on their own instead of through this app? What can this app not do that is needed through other coding? This app seems perfect to me.
Has anyone had any serious issues like messing up their car? bricking? or has everyone been happy with it? Also, is there a code on there to delete the safety/warning screen on the nav at startup?

I have an 06 330xi. How do I know this app will work with my software? A couple posts up the guy says his 06 330xi works fine and the other says it doesn't let him code out the corners...I'll be getting an Apple OTG cable and then the other cable to hooku up to the car. Just a little worried about wasting $50 on this app if I can't use all of it.

Hey guys,
I have a 2010 e92 with led corona angel eyes. I've been trying to code the angel eyes to stop dimming when the low beams are on. The app lets me into the FRM module and I have changed the angel eye brightness for 3 options to very high, angel eyes as DRL/standing lights/parking lights. The app says coding is successful, however they do not seem to change intensity. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? |
