Bluefin with Superchips takes the 325d from 197 to 256 but no one seems to talk about them, why is this?

So after driving in my normal style, got to evolve and saw my colleagues 335d e92 go on the rollers first, it produced a result of 296bhp stock and after the remap a healthy 345bhp with just over 520ft lbs of torque.
Next it was my turn, stock figure showed 249bhp and after remap 292.7bhp with just under 500ft lbs of torque Great bunch of guys and nice e60 m5's occupying the territory. Definitely a huge difference in the response and although it was more noticeable on the 335d which is whiplashing, the 330d has really transformed, its lighter at the throttle and mid range is blistering performance. same driving style on way home with same speed restrictions and achieved 51mpg. All in all, Thank You Evolve!! |

^^^ I doubt he's done anything. My understanding is the figures given by BMW (231) for this car are often low with the car producing much higher BHP from standard and being in the 240's is not uncommon at all.
Although I could be talking out of my arse! 😁 |

Hi guys,
its a pre lci automatic, I have done nothing else to the car, it is just low miles at 69k and well maintained, they did say that normally bmw figures come up higher than stock, also you must factor in the correction factor of the rolling road, apparently no 2 runs on different days would show the same due to weather, tyres and other factors. Most definitely feel the difference and the car is much easier and feels lighter to drive, funnily enough the diesel noise has gone a lot less lower too since the map on both cars. I do have a black grill which might have added a few bhp LMAO |
