E90 330i Performance Boost

Hi Guys fairly new to this forum, but have been on the cutters forum for many a year. Just sold my E46M3 and bought me a cracking 330i 2006 M sport with a few toys and only 22k on the clock. Owned by an old age pensioner who drove about 3k miles a year.

So question please is: Is it worth getting an engine boost on this? I know the petrol engine can't be tuned as much as the diesel, so just want to know is the £ for HP worth it? Change the air filter?
If so any good places to go "down souf"?

Thank you.

I don't see any harm in a replacement panel filter and remap - but all you will get is more urgency ... not any more. You may get 10-15bhp at a guess but it is a great engine with a lovely sound.

In the non-turbo drivetrain section of this forum there's a long thread on a forthcoming ESS supercharger for your engine...

Only +100HP for $5k, should have gone for a 335D

A remap would be good on the diesel op. Then you'll find yourself removing the DPF, getting the icy white LED Angel lights etc etc...

You should get a JBD. Then you can always pull it off and resell it afterwards.

It's so easy to fit. One connector and you don't even have to unscrew anything.
