Bluetooth retrofit w/ combox
So after hours of searching I can't seem to find any details on retrofitting bluetooth into a car that already has Nav, 6FL, voice assist, and a combox. I bought my 2011 335i (mfg date 09/2010) used and never missed having bluetooth until I took my car in for the VANOS recall and drove a loaner F30 with BT for a few days and really got used to it. I have confirmed I have a combox, but am missing the BT antenna. All the retrofit guides I find are either for cars with TCU and MULF, or retrofitting a combox into an older car.
Is it as simple as adding a BT antenna and coding the car? Will the voice assist mic function for BT as well? Thanks in advance. |

Contact forum vendor BimmerTech for the parts and coding required for Bluetooth and 6NR features...

Its a matter of adding a bt antenna (you can add that in your boot), coding the car and running the wire to roof module for a mic and adding a mic.
If you have voice functions (620) then you already have a mic. You are across the pond, otherwise I could have helped you more.
