Here are two shots during day time. Top picture looks a bit off because im just too close. They are BRIGHT, and look much sharper in person. Im really happy with the HID angel eyes, just concerned about damaging the lights, although i have been assured it wont happen you just never know.

80w Crees here. $155 delivered. Same quality as the $225 but you can't change the color, which I don't want to do anyway.

looks great... but dont you have to cut a hole in the back of the headlight cover to run the wires for the hids?

Dan no i didn't, i just placed the wires next to each other and closed the dust cap. They aren't that thick so it worked out just fine.

Really? So you closed the dust cap over the wires and left the ballast outside of the headlight housing? Would you mind taking a couple pics of the install?

Thanks
Dan

I don't have a 3 series, but I have a 528i with xenons. I went with PIAA yellow H8 bulbs. Although yellow isn't for everyone, they look amazing and are extremely bright. I see far too many white LED look, so I wanted something different and closer to stock.

Yep. And taped the ballast somewhere around so its not hanging loose and pulling on the wires. I'll try to take some in a bit

My lights came in last night, only took 2 business days to get delivered. Color me impressed. Thank you Top Gear Solutions.

They are HPB 40W angel eyes and their standard brightness LED interior kit. I was able to install the interior kit last night. Totally worth the $30, great instructions, very happy with the results. I will install the LED angel eyes this Saturday.

Initial impressions they seem very high quality. Nice aluminum body with heat sinks, and a small fan that will blow/suck air through the center I was a bit nervous before getting them, but now that I see them in person I am already wishing I got the brighter "80w" version. (On an aside they should change the terminology, 80w to me sounds hot and scary, when in reality they probably just fine. That is what scared me off initially.)

I will post up when I get them installed

Picked up HPB 80 W version from another member here who bought from TGS.

Very happy. Here is installed pic from about 15-20 ft away:

Definately not easy to install. Took me about 30 min on my LCI e90. Driver side more difficult.

GP Thunder has a V2 blue tinted bulb which is essentially a replacement H8 halogen.

The GP thunder V2s are really good. in fact I find them better than the LEDs. I have a pair of 7500K bulbs that came off my car for sale. PM me if interested.

Should have went with the 80W. Damn.

I was going to do them today but storming out. The drivers side looks easier as long as I move the airbox a bit (328I). I too have large hands.
