Need a printer, any advice before i pop to curry's

Try a test page Carlos, right click on the printer, properties and click on the test page button, that'll tell you if the printer is working.

If it doesn't its possible faulty or you have a bad cable or bad port on your PC.

if it does, it probably the application....

Is it a USB printer Carlos - have you put the oil...erm I mean ink in it?

I think this is where you have gone wrong. HP printers don't need a water supply. In fact this can cause them permanent damage.

It's a manufacturing fault you see, they all have it and many many of them have failed.
