Sure has all the markings of an M3 but it's such a shitty video it's hard to see anything of value, and a 2012 Mustang isn't a 2015.
I'm not going to argue this because it's stupid, but in a straight line it only makes sense that a 5.0 V8 is going to walk away from a 3.0 six. In the corners it's a different story. As far as Americans being too stupid and narcissistic to know what the proper term for a BMW car is...lol. |

Mustang is 3,705lbs
335xi ~ 3,800lbs. Mustang ~ w/ mods 435 hp + 335xi ~ w/ specified mods depending on JB4 Map and boost ~ 400 hp+ AWD vs RWD My bet is close race. If I had to choose i'd say the 335 wins. If one of you has bad shifts other will win. |

I was at a track watching one pretty sharp corner after a downhill and out of 200 cars the Mustangs were making by far the most noise. I'm not saying they didn't still have a lot of lateral grip. It was just surprising most cars were making no noise and the Mustangs sounded like they were coming close to spinning out and weren't going any faster then anyone else in their class.

Have you done intake valve cleaning recently?
Changed your spark plugs? Gotten an oil change? That's a minimum, then start talking about mods to match his power. I guarantee that your opponent hasn't done this stuff, because his car is brand new. Sorry but you'll have a tough time even keeping up. |

As for an update on what's going on with this, I'm waiting to be paid from my deployment to order a FMIC. Also, buddy just installed kooks headers on his stang.. (I know because I helped with the install)

My buddy has a 5.0 on order, as soon as he gets it, breaks it in, its going down! He will start as stock, and I'll record how he progresses against my car over the time.

The mustangs MPH says it all.
With a good driver and tires, the mustang any day of the week. We are talking a sport luxury car vs a pure bread sports car. Even if he does lose, the mustang is just a NO2 kit, or a basic cam and tune away from never being behind your average fbo n54. |
