Are there any posts to help use the diagnostic tools?

If you go over on the Coding board it's all about changing variables on the cars.

I just want to be able to go in and check codes and maybe reset the adaptations for the transmission and transfer case.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Edit... please don't tell me to get Carly for BMW. I've already checked and it will not reset adaptations per the developer.

I use BMW logger and find it to be not too bad. It's free.

I've used it to read and clear codes. The website says you can also reset DME adaptions, but I haven't tried that personally. I also bought my DCAN cable from them.

Edit note - I tried fixing that link at least 3 times. Something about this site's editor won't let me post the exact link.

It was some information for Rhiengold ISTA/D.... but it didn't pan out. But it does seem that is the way to go as for simplicity.

Looking at purchasing it now....
