335 Loaner
I just took my Dinan 3(non-turbo) in for service. They gave me a 335 for a loaner and holy shit!!! My car sounds way better becuase I have all the Dinan performance mods, but the 335 has 10times more balls. I drive alot of high end performance cars such as gt3rs (my friends) supra tt(mine) ferrari 360(friends) sti (friends) evo (friends) and nothing has shocked me like the 335. Sure compared to my supra and other cars I have driven it not as fast, but it has the sleeper factor. I knew that it would be a difference, but I didnt think it would be that dramatic.
I am ordering a 335 for sure. Once I get around 50,000 miles I will trade it in for a Black/red interior/sports/nav/prmpck/6mt/ and all the little things. Prob will order it with the m-tech body as well. It will be my everyday car. Now I just need to find a new weekend car becuase I cant copy my friend a get a gt3rs (he has white with black wheels and its amazing. he also didnt put on the decals on the side, so it looks cleaner) Prob wait 2 years and get a gt2 to rub it in his face. For all of you 335 guys, Im jelious beyond belief. I should have waited when I heard it was coming out. |

Hmmm, I would never let a friend drive my car. You have some really nice friends!

Which is exactly why they gave it to you as a loaner.

I know! LOL. Good marketing! I always planned on buying one when I ditch my car, but now I want it soon. I cant imagine it with the Dinan stuff. The ecu, intake, exhaust and other performance parts will make a huge difference. I love Dinan. Yes, its a shit load of money, but I like not paying for maintance..

LOL. Lets just say when they want to take their car's to the track, they have me drive them to see the full potential. I have not even been able to get close to mastering important skills in my life like (spending money wise, making my gf happy all the time, not leaving work eairly every day, and getting my handicap up so I can finally sandbag), but the clostest Iv come to mastering anything would be my driving skills. I dont know why, I guess I just care about driving and cars more than alot of things. Im young, so I have time to mature.

Hey! NO whining about actually getting a loaner car. When I brought my 335 in for the fuel pump just 6 days after I bought it, I got a CAMRY!

Oh it's running like a dream. I can't get enough of it! In fact, I'm getting butterflies just thinking about it! hehe. I feel like a 13 year old girl crushing on the boy next door!

You guys are all lucky. I've yet to have a bimmer for a loaner. My dealer seems to favor Pontiac. In fact, my car is in service today for an oil change and microfilter change and my SA tried to get out of giving me a loaner at all.
She stated that due to the short amount of work (hour and a half) that they don't give loaners. The job has to be 3 hours or more for them to give a loaner. I was like WTF? I never heard of that. I've had warranty work done before that, that was performed in under an hour and I still got a loaner. I wonder if this is something new because getting a loaner has never been a problem. Now, getting a bimmer for a loaner is next to impossible, at least at any of the dealers I've been to. Anyway, so I'm in this mean Pontiac G6 for today. I'm thinking this dealer is not gonna get "5's" today on their survey.
