Driver side LCI Halo not working- Pic included

Hello,

I have a 2011 e92 335i, and one of my LCI halo driver side lights just went out (changed color from xenon white to amber/halogen). Is this just an issue of the bulb going out? I have attached a picture for reference.

I appreciate any help!

ECS Tuning and other sites claim that the replacement part is an H8 halogen bulb but I don't see how that would work for an e92 LCI with xenons. I've read that the angel eye bulb required is a LED bulb, but I can't find the part number anywhere. Does anyone have a part number for an e92 lci angel eye led bulb?

Your headlight uses an LED module to light up the rings. Did you hit a bump or anything? If one ring works and the other doesn't that could mean that half of the light tubing got dislodged somehow.

Hi uber, thanks for your response. I may have hit a dip yesterday now that I think about it. How would I check if the light tubing is dislodged? I read somewhere that the module connects at the bottom of the rings, so would I be able to check this by removing the top headlight cover where bulbs usually go?

I found a part called "control module, daytime running light" (http://parts.bmwofsouthatlanta.com/p...117263052.html). Is this what you are referring to?

Yeah maybe you can remove the top cover to inspect. It's weird that you have that halogen color coming from the other ring. I have no idea where that's coming from because your adaptive lights aren't on. Well my bet would be that it dislodged and now some other light source has found its way into the tubing. You might actually have to take your headlight off your car to check if it's the tubing.
