CPO - America vs Canada

Hey guys, I've done a ton of searching on here and on Google and can't figure out the answer.

I have a CPO 2011 328xi, and I'm living in Canada.

So I brought my car in to the dealership for an inspection and apparently it has a leaking valve cover. Talking to the SA if is not covered under the CPO, to which I thought it was. They want $950 (which is like $10 US).

I've read that people HAVE been getting them fixed under their CPO but they're located in the US.

So is there a difference between Canadian and American CPOs?

Don't know if there are any difference between US CPO coverage and Canadian. I would ask him to show you in writing where it says that the VCG is not covered.

Canadian CPO does not cover any leaking gasket. US CPO does. Its plainly written in the Canadian CPO fine print that gaskets are excluded. I am told that BMWNA and BMW Canada are 2 different companies (100% BMW owned, both). Another great example of how we Canadians get taken to the cleaners by multinationals. We're a "small market" to them (i.e. size of California). Oh well, at least we have a phenomenally beautiful country with clean air and water and wide open space!
