the 330i does have a great engine and is a very rewarding drive (i've had two in the past), but I think it has to be a manual ... an auto box just wouldn't do the engine justice.

You'll probably find the right car will come up when you stop looking. I found my current LCI E90 335i when I was looking for an S4.

I know what you mean. Last year I was looking for an S4 and couldn't find what I wanted and some poor examples out there with poor service history.

I also found the prices varied hugely based on the spec, some S4's were as much as 10k more than the equivalent 335i (2yrs ago). that said both cars have been holding their values pretty well ...

I have to admit the 335i's are going to e less as less common on the road with the way BMW are selling the 330d's. You can get them very cheap.

Well they do, since 2012 they did. On the facelifted model is called 340i. Everyone wants the 330d or 335d. Even 330d is faster than our old 335i. I can see why people don't want a petrol when their diesels are pretty good and on fincance are cheaper.

Well yeah, I was being pedantic. It's not a 335i if it's a 340i :P

Where are you getting an F30 330d is faster than a E90 335i?

Yeah, but then it would sound like a diesel if you bought a 335d ha ha.

OP I've been keeping an eye out for an e91 335i too for a very long time, although I'm not ready to change and actually thinking that I'll probably move on to the F31 next....

Anyway, a manual lci e91 335i m sport has just popped up on AT, now I'm not sure whether you have agreed a deal with pmmcbl so my intention is not to scupper that. But if you're interested here's the link.

Personally it looks pricey to me without nav......

Good luck with the search

Well over priced. For a little extra you can get an F3x series with loads of kit.

FWIW, Mikey, I got my 335i from Vines, Gatwick. Brilliant service. If it is expensive, then i guess that reflects rarity so if you fancy it go for it and best of luck !

Wow 20k! That's is a lot, I wouldn't be asking for that much if mine was on the market. I did see a saloon at 20k then within 3 weeks it was good for 15k!
But since there isn't many around it's difficult to set a price and the demand will reflect the prices. Someone will pay the 20k for that e91.

Yes, me to but only if someone pays that money. Need to keep the mileage low on my car to ensure I get top money.

I do appreciate that sentiment, but I'm currently doing about 2000 miles a month in mine and loving it. They deserve to be used.

2k per month! I have done 750 and that was a one off. I have a company car plus use other vehicles from work. In real terms I should be doing no more than 300 per month. But I agree, it's a car to be used all the time.

That's massively overpriced IMO but then cars are worth what people will pay for them.
