I ran a set of Sottzero on my 335i but prefer the Blizzaks or Conti winter contacts.

Sottozero 3 are amazing on dry roads and great in snow but are not run flats. I would take those over blizzak any day but if you want run flat the sottozero 2 snow performance is slightly less

What size tires? Then I can see which specific models that you're referring to in those lines.

If you live in an area that gets a lot of snow I would run the Blizzaks, I ran the WS70's for the past two years (same set of tires) and they performed amazing, and we had a couple of pretty good snows and ice storms.

I see that you found a set. Good for you!
I wanted to add something for people that may search this later. Blizzaks vs Conties. Both SSR tires with BMW star rating. Even though the Conties on my 335i are a year or 2 older than the Blizzaks on my wife's car they are considerably quieter than the Blizzaks on my wife's car. Both cars are running 225 45 17s if you are wondering.

yes, driving the wife's car and then mine you can hear a big difference. The tires are amazing though in the snow.
