Help me decide - Yellow or White Fog Lights?
Vote on which one you prefer:
Yellow fog lights, or white to match my headlights. I really can't decide.. And also, what fog lights do you currently have?

Looks like the general consensus is white. Which ones would you guys recommend? I want something that match my headlights. I have a LCI E92.

Function over form for me.
Each color has their own purpose. It all depends on how you intend to use them. White or anything non-yellow it typically used for driving lights as a supplement to headlights. Yellow is better for fog as this color cuts through better than white. I live in an area where there is really dense fog at times so I have always chose the yellow. |

White. Forget talking about civics, yellow was only meant for the lexus IS cars. All the asians in toronto rep that haha.
Get white, and don't match it to your headlights. Mine are 6000k and headlamps I think are 4500k as stock??? The slightly bluer tint on the fogs mixed with the pure white headlamps gives almost a flashy eye-catching look to it without being too ricer. |

If they are truly for fog, yellow works better, less glare.
If they are driving lights, white.

LOL at all these guys running white fog lights, wondering why they don't actually help in foggy conditions at all...
And please, gtfo of here with these "ricer" or "JDM" remarks. OP: It comes to this, Do you want function, or matching look?

White looks cleaner. Yellow has more function.
I had yellow on my Acura. I put white on the BMW. 4300K HPB HID Kit to match the OEM low beam. It's just more tasteful looking IMO. If you really need the functionality of the yellow then go that route. I don't have fog where I live. |

I once got stuck in a fog so heavy I couldn't see if I was on the road or in someone's driveway. Wish I had yellow fogs at that time to reduce the bright white glare. But I do agree with Jeff, all white Looks cleaner

As mentioned in this post, yellow works best for fog. Lots of dense fog in my area so I went with the yellow. Go with your preference, ignore the 'ricer' comments.. |
