Google "bmw group ista/p version and i-level overview" and examine a chart: http://www.xoutpost.com/attachments/...l-overview.pdf For example, if your integration level is E89X-13-07-505, you would need sp daten 51.0 at a minimum which maps to ISTA/P version 2.51.0. You can display your plant, dealer and backup integration levels with INPA:

latest update
Hello everyone....
REALLY interested in coding my 2012 E93...specifically getting the top to open/close with the remote. However, I've updated from bmwupdate.com before I saw the coding stuff. Will all this still work with that update? I've read both and need to know before I get started. Thanks! |

Sorry, the website is BMW.com/update. This updates the software in the car for accessories and other functions in the car via USB. I recall seeing somewhere that coding doesn't work with the "newest update" but need to make sure. Anyone know for certain?

Yes.
I just had to do this. A member helped me with this and did an awesome job. He was very accommodating on timing and very reasonable. Sent me a cable cheaper than I could find one anywhere else and shipped from Europe for $4. All around awesome experience. Did the whole thing remotely. Sent me a link to files, I downloaded them and he installed all of the necessary apps at no charge, did all coding and now I have all of the applications and files on my desktop and the cable to get started screwing around myself. We were messing with e93 convertible top, comfort access-related mods, did Alpina flash, got rid of fog and adaptive errors and a bunch of other things. PM me for details. |

Can code remote to open the top but only can get windows and mirrors to function on remote lock. Convertible top will not go back up. Read this: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=714181 |

Hey guys. Do you know of a code that sets the seats when unlocking? My wife and I both have E90s. However, when I have my key to her car, the seats auto set to my setting when I unlock and using her keys, the same thing to her setting.
But on mine, that is not happening. Any thoughts? She has the standard Sears. I have the sport seats. Could that be it?

Hi guys, I had success coding my 05 E61 a year or so ago, before taking a break from BMWs... Back now in an 08 335i and can't for the life of me got things working with that. I understand we have likely moved from kcan to dcan with the newer car but my cable is supposed to support both and have also bought and tried another. Can someone please point me in the direction of a current guide and software? Ideally would like to get going in Win10 but flexible. Thanks in advance!

Where did you buy your cable? Perhaps this cable will not work with your 335i. What is the production date of your car exactly?
