what happens when you run a full 93 tank on long trips, commute, e85 station runs out, etc? effects? Gas mileage? Tuning for these lower octane?

If you're interested in making power gas mileage isn't a concern lol or we'd all be driving a Prius.

That might work if you have the 14psi hobbs, but obviously not if you have the 5psi.

Equal distribution is an important factor when using either as fuel. That's why I typically like to push Port injection for those that need the extra fueling capacity. |

PI doesn't work off of Hobbs switch TBI does. PI is triggered by Tach and boost reference.

This is the source of some of my confusion of what to get. What is the point of getting the Platinum TBI if it is all on, or all off? As there is a mechanism for reading e85 content I'd think that would be eventually involved. For a future application? When? Otherwise it would seem senseless to go with anything higher than the silver kit.

Ideally with tbi you want to run E40-E60 and 20 psi or 20 psi+ of boost due to the on/off character. |

As the e85 data is available, sorry if I really think it should be tied to a controlling mechanism that determines the content on the fly and make adjustments accordingly. Getting a reading on a cell phone and making adjustments accordingly sounds primitive in this day of digital controlling electronics. How well mixed is the e85 and 93 when people fill up anyhow? Yes, I am inferring that the proportion may change over time on the same tankfull. Someone up thread told me high amounts of 93 would cause miss fires due to an incorrect AFR. Fine, and understood. So this TBI kicks on at 100% at whatever RPM is set. Would that also not be a rich situation until higher RPMs are reached? Is there a plan to adapt the pwm device used for PI as a final solution for this? Sorry if I ask a lot of questions. I see two products with a lot of potential. One for ultimate power and control with Pure 2, and the other potentially providing enough for people like me. Unfortunately that one seems unfinished at this point.
