Hey guys

I have a 2010 pre lci e92 335xi with iDrive. The base stereo is horrid and I was wanting to upgrade. I have read countless posts on here but I am a bit overwhelmed.

I am just looking for the simplest audio upgrade available.
I would like tweeters, better quality audio and more base.

If I get Logic 7 speakers, tweeters, and amp, would i need to code those in or how would i go about that? Or would aftermarket be the best bang for my buck?

Can anyone just give me a simple layout on how much to upgrade and what setup is most cost efficient ?

Speaker components may varry depending upon taste.
I think a Jehnert three way kit may give you the best bang
for the buck for a balanced quality sound.


I believe Bimmertech may be selling a plug and play kit for
the base system now using the Helix 82 dsp which would be better sound quality still
with the addition of Jehnerts. You need to talk to the guys in the
Helix 82 dsp threads about that one.

Other variations are you can try to code to hi fi to avoid using
the cleansweep or if you used a 82dsp I think that can take
high level speaker ins although I don't know how good an idea it is.
