Tell us about your kid(s)
So wifey gives me a call just now saying how his school (he's in 3rd grade, just turned 9) wants us to come in the morning so I'm thinking to myself what did he do? He's a straight A kid, plays little league baseball, loves cars, video games and lost his virginity at age 5 (I kid I kid). Turns out they want to place him in advanced classes or something like that as they think the workload is too easy for him.
Seriously, I'm proud of him. In all of my grade school years I was normally a C student who didn't care, until I hit college and my GPA was just about a 3.0. He gets upset when he gets a B and he just wants to try harder and harder. The fact that he's better looking than I am, smarter, can hit 60 MPH pitches from the batting cages like nothing and knows how to play GTA V and all the COD games like a boss is pretty cool. Yes, I know I may get flamed for 'how can you let him play those games' well he knows whats right and wrong. IIRC, he started playing COD at age 6 I'm proud of my boy and I hope to be like him when I grow up. I would like to hear/see some pics of OT's children.

This was a wonderful post. Great job for raising an awesome son.
No kids for me, yet. Would like to organize some personal matters and then perhaps I will in another few years.

I'm a little worried about the part where he lost his virginity at 5.

He played GTA 4 when it came out a few years ago.

Also FTR, FL schools IMHO lag behind schools from other states, take NY for an example. He was in Kindergarten in NY but since then has been in FL from 1st grade.

My kid is blind at age 4, (or 28 depending on how you look at it) i'm sure from too much whacking off.
But he can sit, stay, shake, lay down all on command. Makes for a good house guardian as well.

I have an amazing 18 y/o daughter. She is beautiful, smart, LOVES CARS, and is a great Martial Arts (karate) practitioner.
Though she is still relatively young, I know that she grow up to be an amazing adult and positive contributor to our society. (What's left of it. ) Wait...who said that? Seriously. She is amazing and I am luckier and more proud than any parent has a right to be. Cheers-mk |

You merely adopted OT. I was born in it, molded by it. I didn't see the rest of the universal forums until I was already a man, by then it was nothing to me but boring. |

Not my kid, but a co-worker of mine. Pretty damn cool, he must be really freaking proud! His son just received his Masters degree in neuro biology or something and he's only 19! He started college @ 14 or 15. From what his dad tells me he plans to get another masters degree and a doctorate.

I love my kids but I seriously would wish them to be dumber. I got conned to take the the eldest to see Ironmaiden next summer and the brat had the audacity to brag about it.
"mom knows I love mokoma (a Finnish heavy metal band) and since she and her army buddies are going to their show next month I whined I wanted to tag along so long she promised to take me to see iron maiden next summer. She feels like she won, but iron is playing in this beautiful city here and I can make it a weekend and we can go see a few museums then too." In my defence I haven't seen my buddies in two years and I could use a weekend of trash metal and bad ideas, without having to be sober and in charge. I think it's worth a few museums.

I have that disease and it costs a lot of money. But it was great becoming infected, would do it again for the memories good or bad I've experienced. |

Yeah. I've grown attached to mine too. I should've stick with dogs as I planned when I was young. I'd have so much more closet space now.
