BMW of El Cajon

Just wanted to give BMW of El Cajon some cuddos and to share my great experience with them. Michael Parker helped me there for my appointment in the service department. I came in for my waste gate rattle issue which has been getting worse and worse the past 2 months. They set me up with a loaner car which I was afraid I would get because my wallet was stolen 2 days prior and I have an out of state license. I ordered a new one to be mailed but won't get it for 10 days or so. The manager came to speak with me and said that it was no problem and that since I had my proof of insurance that that would be enough since you can't get insurance without lisence. The next day Michael called me to update me on my turbo replacement and said that everything was approved and let me know of a couple things else wrong with the car (oil filter housing gasket) which I knew was leaking and have it on hand waiting to install it when I get the car back. I am extremely happy with their service and highly recommend them to anyone looking for servicing on there bmw's. So I'm supper stoked to get the car back with 2 brand new turbos, gaskets and all hardware and covered under the 8 years 82000 mile warranty for turbos. Now I can finally start putting all my "goodies" on the car and unleash the beast!!!

Did they give you any advice on break-in period for the new turbos and how to properly break them in?

I have not gone over that with him or the techs. That's a great question I will ask them when I go pick it up!
