Guys i need help 335i or M3
Now bieleve it or not im faced with this decision. When i read that the prices for the new m3 coupe i was shocked. Im getting a 335i coupe wich should be here withen a week or so but when i saw that its only 6 k over what my parents are paying for my 335i I RUSHED TO TELL THEM they said its up to me but id need to learn how to drive a stick lol thats fine be me. But i could only get the technology package on the m3 so if i got my 335i it would be fully loaded with everything i want the hd radio the comfort access all the bellz and whistles and if i got the m3 itd be only technology package. This will be my daily driver and i am kinda iffy cuz i just want a car thats fun and out of this world. And i have the option of getting one or the other im a lucky kid but what do i do. is stick hard to drive as a daily driver? wil lthe m3 be a pain to drive as a daily driver? is it worth just modding my 335i like i originaly planned? btw i would love to say i drive a m3 instead of saying i drive a 3 series lol

Wow. . . Well if you've got the money to throw around, buy the M3. Especially if you aren't paying for it.

Wrong way to ask that question. I think you're gonna piss some people off... Just my guess though....
BTW, not trying to hate... but trying to help you.... I learned that being humble really helps |

I'm 29 and I love driving my first new BMW- I also love that I can say I bought it with the fruits of my own labor! But, man, I wouldn't complain at all if I was in your dilemna!

I don't know where you get the 6k difference from. From the prices I see, it's more in the range of 10k if not more. If you are worried about driving stick, opt for the SMG. |

i would wait for the new M3.. no matter what you do to a 335i it will not be an M monster.. like when i borrowed my brothers car (cts-v modded) i get jealous at the V8 roar and pull. so like you can make a 335i fast maybe faster than the new m3 but you will not have that V8 sound and the new M3 just looks amazing .. And might i make a suggestion get a MT no matter which car you get more fun and more sporty just In my opinion. but either way you will definitly get a very nice car just my point of view.

edit: if its anything like the M5, THAT was certainly NOT a roar and pull car - only time it was crazy fun was on the highway, otherwise pretty sluggish in the city, took a long time for the V-10 to spin up to give you any torque. I say go for the 335, its crazy fast as it is. That way, you can enjoy a car right away, and not have to fumble around learning manual. It will take you a long time to learn manual very well, and during that time there will be a lot of burnt clutches and stalling - you may not enjoy the car for a while. My 2 cents worth. |

i guess you could say that i'm like you. my parents bought me my car for me and it arrived 2 days ago. The power delivery is unbelievable. Now this is my first car and i know its too much to have a 335 for a first car let alone getting an M3. Just get the 335 loaded then after a few years that u've mastered driving (i'm guessing u should be under 18) get the M3. This 335 is so damn good that i wouldn't want a M3 just yet. So go for the 335 loaded and have fun....then get the M3 and have even more fun with the skills that you developed from the 335.
