Oil cooler for 02/2007 E92?
Anyone recommends a good afrermarket oil cooler setup for my E92? Car did not come with an OEM oil cooler and being that I live in Florida and plan on keeping my car until the wheels fall off, I sure would love to add an oil cooler.
Thanks!

Our one 335i sport was built in 3/2007. They started putting on oil coolers the next month, so I was in the same boat. I bought an oil cooler filter housing off of someone on ebay. I also bought all new oil filter gaskets. I then bought a $135 oil cooler and lines off of ebay.
The oil cooler is about 3 times larger than the stock one so it now has plenty of cooling. I located it where the stock one would have gone. I did have to fab up a mount for the cooler but it was no big deal. All in all I have about $300 in the set up. After a year it's working great. |

highly recommend you also remove your plastic engine cover during the hot weather as this stabilizes temps and brings them to exactly where they should be during the hot weather.
