has anyone tried installing an aftermarket e90 lci mtech bumper to non mtech?

the bumper and parts are all perfect replicas but apparently the new fog light support bracket (part that connects back of fog lights to actual car) doesn't fit onto the car? the bracket fits onto the bumper but i can't fit the bumper to the car..

I have heard if your car is a Sport, then going to M-Sport doesn't require anything.

If your car is not M-Sport then some people say you have to trim the air ducts, and possibly drill some new holes. I am not 100% sure but I plan on putting a M-Tech front bumper on my car in less than a week. I am Sport.
