Clear Bar installer in Vancouver, BC, Canada?
Hello,
I am interested in having the 3M (or similar) clear bra installed on my E90. Does anyone know of a good installer in the Vancouver area? My dealership has not been able to find the BMW p/n for this product, so I am looking at 3rd party installers now. Thanks. Ed

Sorry I can't help, but do you mind if I ask how much they are charging?
A local shop wants $400. I've been trying to find materials online and it appears you can buy rolls of the stuff for ~$150, but I'm not sure how well that would turn out. |

i dont know anywhere in your area, but if you have a graphic sticker place nearby, they should know how to do it. make sure they do custom graphic for cars not just make them.

Update:
82 11 0 399 148 Hood, Kidney?, and Mirrors: $296.50 CND + 2 hours labour 82 110 399 149 Entire bumper: $450 CND + 2 hours labour The sales guy actually advised AGAINST getting the bumper covering because it's probably cheaper to get the bumper repainted after a nasty gash. Unless you are very handy, it's probably not advisable to install the bra yourself. Ed

I have found a local 3rd party installer of the 3M ExPel clear bra!
Downtown Auto Spa http://www.downtownautospa.com/ A: 55 East 5th Ave. Vancouver BC P: 604-689-1550 E: info@downtownautospa.com Unless I misunderstood the guy on the phone, their installed price is the same as the dealer's price for parts alone. Ed

When I got my bra installed, I could have gotten the work done cheaper by a third party installer in my neck of the woods, but I went with the dealership. The BMW dealership guaranteed the work for the life of the car if anything happens to the bra, plus I thought to myself, you never know when these smaller companies or single guy operations might go out of business, and then you have no course of action. Just my 2 cents.
