No, I dont think they will as the chassis wont be able to cope with the torque
I think thats the reason, If i am wrong i am sure someone will tell me |

Yeah they do, i not a fan of verts that much. I like a ''solid'' roof lol.
Didnt realise 335d smoked? ill have to look out for that!

They've never done 'owt for me TBH, but just been looking at the M3 vert on the BMW website and it looks nice actually.

So does anyone know why BMW do not do a 335 D E93?
Seems strange when they do a 330 D E93?!?!?

It's really odd. I read one press article some months ago which suggested that BMW did not see a market for a 335d vert, with diesel verts being something of a 'niche' product.
I think there would be plenty of demand, but BMW have had nerves about this before. In 2004 they launched the first diesel coupes 320cd and 330cd. Then shortly after they added the engines to the convertible range. However, the 320cd vert was detuned to reduce engine noise as BMW felt it wouldn't work otherwise. |
