HELP: DISA not opening/working after rebuilt (Video inside)
I bought the DISA repair kit.
I placed the SILVER O Ring between the new gear and the new shaft and then i tighten it untill it cannot move. DID I DO THIS WRONG? I use MSV80.0 > F6 (Activate) > F1 (Actuator Activations 1) > Shift+F6 (VIMDISA) to test the DISAs. After clicking F1 to OPEN the DISA, the % on INPA shows 67% OPEN, but DISA is still closed You can hear the clicking sound in the video @ 0:24 0:28 0:34 0:41 0:44 when i click F1 and F2 to close the DISAs, but the DISAs dont open. tune isnt necessary to run the test in INPA. I do not have the tune and I successfully ran the tests in INPA and was able to get them to open and close via INPA.

Unfortunately, I don't have any other reference for that. I'd imagine the speed of opening on mine is accurate. I wonder if you installed something wrong when you opened them. Can you open them up again and have a look? how did you seal them?

I wonder if its a matter of indexing them. Perhaps they need to be in the open position when you plug them in. Why don't you just tighten up the big one and use clamps to keep it closed and run the test again. Have you tried that? Also, does it matter which way you install the valve?

When you plug them into the engine, it does a reset pattern each time the motor starts, forcing them to the starting position regardless of their position when they are initially plugged in. You can just attach them directly to the plugs on the motor, and watch them work while someone revs the engine. It's pretty interesting to watch, and a good way to confirm everything is working right.
