e90 PFC Rear Brake Pad Size
Is anyone running PFC pads on the rear of their e90 328i xDrive? I've spent way too much time trying to solve this puzzle through the forum search, realoem, bmwparts and google. I've also spoken to three different PFC dealers, but I keep getting conflicting information about the correct PFC rear brake pad for my car. I have a 2011 e90 328i xDrive N51 (10/2010). Do I need a 0396 or 0548 rear pad size? Anyone? TIA

Yes. They were the first place I called.

I was in the same dilemma, the PFC 548 rear pads were too small, so Bimmerworld let me exchange them for the 396 rear pads. They were the correct dimensions, but the clips were too small for the caliper pistons. The pads were easy to change, but because they were so loose they'd make clunk noises enough that personnel in the paddock would notice! I switched to CarboTech Pads; they fit great. If you want those 396 rear pads (two track days on them-very little wear) I'll send them to you no charge; I'll never use them.
