I cut a gift card to the same face shape as the piece that activates the front fogs. Superglued it to a bolt with the right length. Wrapped the bolt in electrical tape for a snug fit and to prevent rattling. Haven't had an issue in the year it's been in there and it functions exactly the same as the OEM one. Only difference is the rear fog button doesn't have lettering. To be honest I forgot I did that till now lol

I used two 1x1 legos and a 6x2 cut to line up with the alignment notch in my switch.
a little superglue holds them all together. |

Tore down my engine bay to replace what I thought was a faulty knock sensor (2E69 code), turns out a mouse must have chewed through a couple of wires. 1 hour tear down, 3 minutes to solder, 45 minutes to put back together. I'm glad I get to return the knock sensor I purchased.

I like them, I want to get rid of my M door sills as well. They're so tacky on a non-M car.

But the door sills? Nothing performance about those! I hate the M foot rest too, but that's out of sight 99% of the time so I'm not going to pay money to get rid of it.

What shift knob are you running, the BMW Performance one? I considered it but didn't think it would match the IS trim well, two different colors of aluminium.

I am very happy to read this. This is the kind of manual that needs to be given and not the random misinformation that’s at the other blogs. Appreciate your sharing this best posting. https://ewriters.pro/

I'm pretty particular lets say and I never noticed it as standing out to me, in fact I never even thought about at all until now you just made me go take another look haha. Since everything is OEM it really doesn't stand out as anything un-ordinary or out of place, I would say technically yes they are a different shade, but I would attribute most of that to the texture in the trim reflecting the light less cuz of the pattern cut into it compared to the flat 'polished' surfaces on the knobs if that makes sense.
