So my window trim looks pretty rough, I'm not 100% sold on black, and thought about giving it the brushed look. I did it tho the trim on my steering wheel and love it. I want some separation from the windows and like the color.

I figured worst case scenario, I paint/wrap it later.

Thoughts? Anyone seen it before?

I haven't seen brushed trim before, but I think it'd look original! What color is your car? Sometimes the contrast on the darker colors is a good look.

Mine is too! Great color. I have the gloss black trim, and personally love it, but I feel a brushed silver would give it a unique look, and match silver wheels nicely. Also, if you don't have a black grille on it maybe a satin silver one would tie that look all together. Just my 2¢

I had the silver trim on my TIAG E46 and wrapped it with vinyl. Luckily, the E92 came with the black trim.

So I appreciate your thoughts on the wheels and grill, but kind of from a raising concern standpoint. I have the gloss black M4 grills and I'm planning on going gloss black wheels. I wonder if I should just play safe and go gloss black there also...

Does anyone know if the corrosion is reversible?

My thought is that if it's not then I may as well try the brushed look, what do I have to loose?

Worst case scenario would be that I can wrap it. But if it's salvageable, I need to consider that also...

That looks like it could be polished back to original, if that's a look you like.
