Exhaust shop recommendations?
Recently bought downpipes and need them installed on the car. Also looking into modifying the exhaust. Any recommendations in the DMV area?

Just tried Cachilla Muffler & Custom Exhaust in Rockville at the recommendation of an excellent NPDR guy I know and was unbelievably impressed. Good, fast, cheap (which--as you know--don't often/ever go hand-in-hand). No frills, but the owner, Wilmer, works absurdly quickly.
I kid you not: I watched him replace the cat on a Nissan Xterra in <12 minutes, then perform a muffler-delete for an Audi RS7 in <15 minutes. Next, he went on to completed a repair on my aftermarket turbo-back exhaust that I was told by others wouldn't be cost effective relative to total replacement...for less than $100 in less than 15 minutes (diagnosis to credit card swipe). Too impressed not to take the time to leave a positive trail for him here on the forums. |
