I'm waiting to install this and I'm about to order some Cyba quad tips in black chrome. You have to have an MTech rear bumper for that setup to work. If you have a 335is then your G2G. Last edited by Slim415; 01-22-2020 at 04:16 PM.. |

Just added AKG aluminum monoballs in the front and ECS trailing arm with whiteline poly bushings in the rear.
For those of you who decide on the trailing arm bushings and own an E93, be prepared to drop your subframe to get them in.

Maverick,
I have this same car with 6sp manual. I drove cars with DCT and it works very well. Cannot attest to the reliability, but I think it comes down to what your prefer. DCT is faster and convenient if you think shifting in stop/go traffic is unpleasant. I prefer shifting myself so looked far and wide for a three pedal manual. The ad looks like a nice car, and fairly priced for the mileage. Definitely get a PPI from an independent mechanic if you get serious about it. Good Luck! |

hey guys
recently purchased a 2011 335is DCT low mileage ... all i can say is WOW amazing car used to have a 2004 bmw 330i ZHP sedan few years back. great to be back in a bmw. i am sorry if i posted in the wrong thread. i have been reading through the threads for modification information but seems to be dated based on the rate of new products being released and tune software updates. i am looking to gather some experience information from 335is dct owners. vehicle is currently stock. iv purchased some products and was looking for information regarding the MHD flast tune. Products purchased not yet installed MMP outlets factory turbo mount BMS elite charge pipe BMS factory fit inlets BMS E chassis replacement front mount intercooler (2019) revised design. AFE DCI intake part number 51-11472 Spark plugs – ngk one range colder -stock #97968 vehicle is a daily driver 91oct only. not looking to dial the engine in any further mods wise. will be moving towards suspension components next. i have purchased the MHD wireless flasher. based on parts purchased i was interested to know if a custom was really needed ?? or will stage 1 91oct OTS MHD map be more then plenty for daily driver without causing any inconsistent drive-ability issues based on parts list being installed ? thanks in advance for any advice, sorry again if im in the wrong thread. |

What motor mounts did you guys use to fix or replace? The IS right side motor mount has went back up in price and is 690$. I recall seeing it at 300$ (even that price is very high) a few months ago...
I don't know what to do and I'd like to keep my car like factory and not mod it to much. I also feel like if I get the normal non IS mount it won't be as stiff and can cause issues, I was reading the reason why the IS mount is stiffer was to account for it's more HP and all that. |

Hey to update on the motor mount, I can't confirm is this is true but someone told me from BMWTech subreddit, the IS/Z4 motor mount is solid rubber compared to the left side that is fluid filled. Thus, the right engine mount should last much longer and only give minimal play once it gets used a lot it will at most only let the engine move by like 1mm. They say ths IS mount should last at least up to 300k KM.
Only way to know for sure would be to have to disassemble an IS mount and I don't thin anyone is gonna do that considering their price lol . |
