What index is this injector

Trying to determine what index these injectors are. See attached image. Apparently it is a VDO A2C9521190280

Can't tell because they laser etched the part number and index off of it. Right there at the top of the black plastic part

Yes, probably one of those ceapo remanufactured ones. They are just cleaned with fuel injector cleaner and re-boxed. Injectors fail from the peizo material and oil it's enclosed in - impossible to remanufacture.

According to vdo index 11 or higher.

If your not getting them brand new I would probably pass. Used injectors can be hit or miss not worth the gamble imo especially if you love your motor as much as I do.

The engraved box above the end of VDO part number indicates it is at least an index 11. This box signifies it has "Updated Materials" and should not be mixed with anything below index 11.

VDO rebrands after removing the part number and BMW logo. I believe they remanufacture/refurbish them but not sure on how.

This has been discussed. Those are index 11 or 12. Not sure why noobs don’t want to do any research at all. Instead they just keep creating new threads on old topics. TRW does the same with the M3 control arms for same reasons: able to sell.
