MHD stage 2 Cat not ready

I picked up a cheap E93 with MHD stage 2 tune and index 2 injectors.

The car also doesn’t have the aft turbo primary catalytic converter.

I assume this is reason why Cat monitor is not ready. Hence I can’t get it smogged.

My question-

1. Do I need to get the primary cat and flash the car back to factory in order to get catalytic monitor to show ready?

2. Any way I am manual set it?

so you will never get rediness on stage 2 as the monitor is disabled, so you need to flash back to stock or stage zero for the monitor to be on and then it will fail since you have no cats. The fix is put the cats back on or search for DP Fix you need one of those to simulate your cats (offroad use only of course). Burger Tuning used to make one, then VRSF used to make one but not sure if anyone is still making, might need to pick one up used.

This is all assuming you have an N54, if it is a n55 car, then put the cat back on.
