Oil Cooler Install
I've began modding my car in the recent months and I've seen oil temps rise. I've been hitting 255-260° after driving hard in 40-50° weather which worriers me for temps in the summer.
I'm looking to install an oil cooler and had some questions. Are the new oil filter housing, hoses, and cooler all just plug and play? I know cars with the oil cooler have exhaust ducts in the fender liner. Is this necessary and can I just retrofit a new vented cover on? Do I need to run an air duct to the cooler? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated, thank you. |

Its plug and play just get the thermostat delete plate, get 10an fittings with push click lines and an external thermostat, and the cooler goes behing the passenger fog light, double it up and do the same thing on drivers side with transmission while u are down there

I'm just finishing this job, and there are a LOT of parts involved. If you PM me your email address, I'll send you my spreadsheet with all the part numbers, plus some notes on acquisition and installation.

Really, its pretty straight forward. Oil filter housing gasket, thermostat delete plate, 10an male end w rubber washers, 2 90 degree 10an to push lock connections, 10an push lock hose, 2 90 degree 10an to push lock connections, external thermostat, 2 45 degree push lock 10an push lock connections, then lines again, then 90 degree connections again, then fittings into radiator cooler of the size you wish.
