335d 2.8 JR race tune help!
I recently sent my ECU off to get the JR 2.8 race tune. All was good with no issues, then 3 weeks later car was written off. Now have a 2010 335d and want to swap the tune from old ECU to new ECU. Customer service at tunemyeuro.com said they can not swap the tune, said it's coded to the VIN#. Is there anyone who has had to swap tunes from one ECU to another? Is there any way of doing so? I asked if I sent both ECU to them and delete off one and install on the other ( so there is not 2 ecu's with the 2.8 tune on them) they said no that they will offer 10 percent off for returning customers. So basically I burnt my $1728.00 CAD for a tune for 1 month and is now unless?
