E90 19R NRF Tyres?
Hi All,
Just picked up my first E90, (UK Based) I seem to have purchased it (privately) with a slow puncture, the car didn't show it as any fault on Idrive so I'm unsure if the previous owner has even removed the sensors. I'm looking at replacing all my tyres with Non RF;s. Any tyre recommendations? Sizes are 225/35/19 Front 255/35/19 Rear, can I go 255 all over? Should I keep the 225/255 the same? How would I test the sensors to see if he's removed them / broken? |

I went from Michelin Run Flats to PS4S' and love the ride, I also went up one size to 235/40/18 and 265/35/18. I'd be careful about going with 19" wheels, they will be suffer if the conditions of local roads are poor, the performance and mileage will drop because of the additional weight and suspension will wear quicker. You may request the installer to inspect the sensors and replace if necessary. Only you can determine if you can afford the usual maintenance plus additional potential issues from modifying your car. If you are new to BMW vehicles, I would wait on modding and just get everything up to date first.
