If you already have xenons, you're losing automatic headlight leveling and adaptive headlights. So basically a downgrade for xenons but an upgrade for halogen.

Even in the pictures they look like they are built out of cheap ass plastics... maybe they will look better in person but I HIGHLY doubt it.

They look ok. The angel eyes look nice.
The white eyebrow on top, not so much.

These always look like tacky garbage, I recommend saving up for some proper built headlights.

Yeah. I have halogens with the lux led angel eye. They are fine, but the eyelid in the housing is badly oxidized and yellow. I would like to crack them open and paint the eyelid, but it is a task I don't want to deal with.

Imo, most aftermarket headlights for our cars just don't look right. The OEM xenons for both prelci and lci just suit the styling of the car much better.

Even if they looked OEM quality, F30/80 esque angel eyes are just too angular for our cars soft lines.

Why do E series drivers want F series angel eyes? Makes no sense to me. It's not an F, don't make it a 5% F, it's not gonna fool anyone. Either save up for an F or be proud of your awesome E.

Hahaha.
Link to f series angel eyes that look like the ones in the link above?

1, The sharp lines on the new angel eyes make it look better, to me and a lot of others. Be it f series angel eyes or something else like above.

2, 2 out of the 3 lights with angel eyes that came on the e90 have decent angel eye light output. Pre lci xenon and lci halogen. The lci angels eyes are crap when distributing light.

3, led rings are brighter.

I don’t think anyone is trying to fool anyone by buying new lights.

What? LCI xenon angel eyes are bad?

My LCI xenon angel eyes are bright as hell, a lot brighter than pre-lci.

How’s the light distribution across both rings?

My pre lci xenon with led bulbs is about even.
My lci xenon with led bulbs leaves the outer ring almost non existent.

That's very strange, usually it's the other way around. My LCI are 100% lit up and super bright.

I’d like to see a photo of even light distribution on LCI xenon using a different bulb other than the oem yellow one.

But that still leaves us with the round halo.
If there were Adaptive+xenon lights that looked good, had newer angel eyes, and were decently priced, I’d be all over them. But there isn’t.

And for people who don’t care/have the adaptive+xenon, the lights linked above look ok and don’t seem to convert or even try to convert a car into an f series.

Again, I think you have them switched around. Pre LCI angel eyes are yellow, lci angel eyes are bright wite LED.

No, I don’t. They all come yellow from the factory.

Here are some photos for you.
Pre lci xenon-even light on halos.
Lci halogen-even light on halos.
Lci xenon-uneven light between the halos.

Now, I have seen some lci xenons with led bulbs and almost evenly lit halos, but not as close as the other 2.

It's nice that the lci Xe halos are designed to function as running lights ( the inner ring actually projects a decent beam forward, as it's designed to) but it's unfortunate it comes at the cost of the uneven lighting. If you've ever driven in front of an LCI to see it on the road, it admittedly looks like something is wrong. I am not denying that evenly lit LCI Xe headlights are possible, but I've never seen it.

Pre LCI Xe, while evenly lit, is very dim though. With LUX LEDS though... it's about perfect imo.

That being said, regardless of LCI/Pre LCI, going from the halogens to the xenons is always an upgrade overall, even if it means LCI Xe halos.

This is my experience with aftermarket headlights after ~3 years. The plastic caved in and pulled apart very tenderly. Depo V2

and they're not HID lamps.
they're halogen projector low beams and a reflector full beam.

a downgrade from factory xenon lights in every way.

I had lci halogen before.
An led bulb for the halos, led bulbs for the high and low beam and it looked great and tons of light.
Led low beams on that light was a cheap and good alternative when compared to xenons or aftermarket lights.
You can also increase the voltage on the angel eyes to make them a little brighter.

I’ve tried different halo bulbs for the lci xenons. Tried partially covering half the bulb, nothing works for them.

Does anyone have a good recommendation for a quality vinyl wrap to put on the lens to cover the oxidated eyelid. The eyelid is really my main concern.
