2009 E92 Combox bluetooth paired but not connecting

Hi all,

Im having a bit of a head scratcher at the moment.

I've retro-fitted a BN2000 combox (with telematics) into my 06/2009 E92. The combox replaced the TCU and MULF that were fitted.
I've used a wiring kit for Kufatec to fit it.

I've carried out the coding on NCS expert, removing $615, $639 and adding $644, $6NF, $6NR, $6VA and $6VC

Things have seemed to have gone relatively smoothly. I can connect my phone via the usb and play music through.

The issue I'm having is when i connect the bluetooth to my phone (iphone11).

I can pair the phone to the system without issue but it will not connect on the car side. it will show connecting but after a time it will say that it cant connect.

checking my bluetooth settings on my phone shows the phone as connected

I've checked through the forums and can't seem to find an answer to the issue I'm having.

I used this video for the coding

Thanks for any assistance

So is the problem with the phone or bluetooth streaming.
Streaming requires idrive with a certain level firmware from
the threads I have read here. And probably the level idrive
hardware that was on the later idrives released in the e9x
series.

programing issues are better worked out on the coding sub forum
also there is and idrive sub forum.

Did you connect your BT antenna properly? Mine did that when I forgot to connect it. I used this cable to adapt it, as I didn't want to take a dremel tool to the notches, like some guides say to do.
